Creating Custom Tests: Building Your Own

Codejudge is a powerful platform that allows you to create and manage coding assessments to evaluate the skills of developers and programmers. 

This article will guide you through the process of creating a test on Codejudge.io, enabling you to streamline your assessment workflow and find the best talent for your organization.

Step 1: After you log in to the Codejudge recruiter page, navigate to Tests. Within your dashboard, look for the option to "Create New Test" and click on it to initiate the test creation process. 

Step 2: Choose test type For Hiring or For Learning or For Employee Upskilling. Here we are creating a test For Hiring. So click on For Hiring.

Step 3: On clicking For Hiring, it opens an information page where you can add Job role, Test Name and select Manually for custom test.

Step 4: On selecting the 'Questions' option, You can add new ones as needed.

Step 5: Click on the “Add questions” button, andour extensive library provides you with a variety of questions and you can choose as needed. Then click on “add to test”. Click on “Done”

Step 6: Review and configure test settings to align with your preferences. Options include plagiarism detection, candidate registration, test timers, and more. Customize settings to meet your assessment requirements.

Step 7: When you are ready to make the test available to candidates, click on the "Publish Test" button. Test is now accessible to candidates who have been invited to take the assessment.

Step 8: When you click on save test, a draft of the test is created and you can edit the test later on or if you are ready, then publish the test.

Additionally, any changes made while editing the draft test are auto-saved.

Step 9: Recruiters can edit the draft tests to make changes by clicking on the Edit button in the Tests section. 

Step 10: On clicking the Edit button it will open the Test Information page. Here you can make changes in any field which automatically saves the changes for every 5 seconds.

For example, here on auto-saving the changes, a pop-up shows up - "Last updated at: Nov 27, 2023, 9:28:09 PM".

Recruiters can also click on the Update Test button to manually save the changes to the draft test.
