Ensuring Code Quality and Detecting Plagiarism: Best Practices

Codejudge is committed to helping recruiters and organisations find the best candidates by offering robust assessment tools. A crucial aspect of this process is evaluating not only the correctness of code but also its quality and originality.

Step 1: Login to the Codejudge recruiter account and navigate to the "Tests" section. Here, you'll find a list of all available tests. Click on a particular test to view comprehensive candidate performance details.

Step 2: On clicking, a list of candidates who participated in the test along with their corresponding status will be presented. Click on any particular candidate to view the details.

Step 3: When we moved to the detail page. We have programming results for the questions. Click on the action button to see the Total score, Quality score, Time taken and Plagiarized.

Note: Code quality is for programming, Project.

Note: When the code matches with other candidates then Plagiarised status is Yes.

Step 4:  You can also check in which language candidates have submitted the code.

You can also check how much time and memory used to pass the test cases and test cases are accepted or not.

Step 5: You can check the code quality by clicking “view code quality”. Where you can check the major and minor violations made by the candidate in the cod. You can also copy code by clicking “Copy Code”. 

Step 6: You can view the code submitted by the candidate by clicking on “view code”. You can also copy the code by clicking on “View Code”.

Step 7: You can also check the time and date submission made by candidate.

Code quality and plagiarism analysis are integral components of the Codejudge assessment process. By assessing candidates not only on the correctness of their solutions but also on the quality and originality of their code, the platform offers a comprehensive evaluation.
