Integrating LEVER with Your Company Account

Lever is an exceptional Applicant Tracking System (ATS) that simplifies and streamlines the recruitment process. Setting up your company account and integrating it with Lever's ATS can significantly enhance your hiring capabilities.

Setting up your company account and integrating it with Lever is a structured process. Follow these steps to get started:

Step 1: Log in to your Codejudge account. Navigate to Settings via the menu bar

Step 2: Select Lever from the list of integrations. Click Configure.

Step 3: Sign-in to your Lever account to connect to both platforms.

Step 4: Review the list of requested permissions and click Accept to authorize the integration.

Codejudge requires access to candidates, opportunities, stages, tags, webhooks and offline access in order to generate contracts in Codejudge when you hire someone in Lever.

Step 5: Select the assessment trigger stage for which you want to automate the process.

Copy the Webhook URL from the 'Configure Lever Integration' screen on Codejudge (see above)

Configure webhooks 

Step 6: In Lever, navigate to Settings > Integrations and API > Webhooks.

  1. Enable the following webhooks by toggling the webhooks to the on (green) position if they are not already enabled:
  • Application Created
  • Candidate Stage Change
  1. Navigate to the 'Application Created' webhook
  2. Click + Add Webhook
  3. Paste the webhook URL into the URL field
  4. Click Verify Connection
  5. Confirm that the webhook has successfully verified on Lever
  6. Repeat with the 'Candidate Stage Change' webhook to enable both webhooks

Once the connections are verified, go back to the Codejudge 'Integrations' page. Click Save.

Configuring assessments to Lever job postings

Step 7: In Codejudge, copy the Test ID from the assessment detail page.


Step 8: In Lever, navigate to the Jobs section via the platform header. Create or edit a job posting. Add the assessment id tag to the job posting (e.g. “CJ-81519”.). When new opportunities/ candidates are added to a job, the opportunity will inherit the same tags in the job. These tags can also be directly added and used on a candidate opportunity in Lever.

Step 9: Once the candidate has completed their assessment, a link to the results as well as a note with details on the test results will be added to their opportunity.
