Steps to Access the Contests Analytics Dashboard

Step 1: Log in to your Codejudge account using your credentials.

Step 2: Once logged in, locate and click on the Analytics Dashboard button in the navigation menu.

Step 3: The Analytics Dashboard will display product-wise analytics. To view analytics specific to contests, select the Contests category.

The Contests Analytics Dashboard is organized into five key categories, each providing valuable metrics and visualizations to help you understand and optimize your contest processes.

1. Contests Overview

Gain a high-level view of your contest activities with the following metrics:

  • Number of Contests Created: Total contests initiated.
  • Number of Contests Published: Contests made available to candidates.
  • Number of Ongoing Contests: Contests currently active and in progress.
  • Completion Rate: Percentage of candidates who have completed the contests.

2. Candidates Performance

Evaluate how candidates are engaging with your contests through these metrics:

  • Number of Candidates Invited: Total candidates invited to participate in contests.
  • Number of Candidates Attempted: Candidates who have started the contests.
  • Number of Non-Zero Results: Candidates who scored above zero.
  • Number of Results Over 75%: Candidates scoring above 75%.
  • Number of Results Over 90%: Candidates scoring above 90%.

3. Popular Languages

Understand the programming languages preferred by your candidates with an interactive graph:

  • Graph Details: Displays various coding languages and their usage percentages (0%, 20%, 40%, etc., on the Y-axis; languages on the X-axis).
  • Interactive Features: Hover over each bar to view the exact number of candidates using each language.
  • Supported Contest Types: Currently available for Programming, SQL, and Project-based contests.

4. Score Distribution

Analyze the distribution of candidate scores with a detailed bar graph:

  • Graph Details: Shows score ranges (0-20, 21-40, 41-60, etc.) on the X-axis and the number of candidates on the Y-axis (0, 20, 40, ..., 100).
  • Interactive Features: Hover over each bar to see the exact number of candidates within each score range.

5. Volume

Track candidate engagement over time with the Volume graph:

  • Graph Details: Illustrates the number of candidates invited, started, and completed contests over specific time periods.
  • Time Range Options: Easily switch between Month-to-Date (MTD), Quarter-to-Date (QTD), and Year-to-Date (YTD) views to analyze trends.

Utilizing Filters for Customized Insights

To refine your analytics and focus on specific data sets, the Contests Analytics Dashboard offers several filtering options:

  • Contest Name: Select a particular contest to view its analytics.
  • Job Role: Filter data based on different job roles associated with the contests.
  • Created By: View analytics for contests created by specific team members.
  • Select Time Range: Choose a custom time frame to analyze data within a specific period.
