Configuring Tests: Understanding Allowed Technologies, Dynamic Test Duration and Other Elements

Recruiters can seamlessly identify skilled candidates by customizing test conditions on the Codejudge platform. This transparent screening approach empowers recruiters to efficiently evaluate coding abilities and make informed hiring decisions, ensuring a fair and accurate assessment process.

To configure a test, follow these steps:

Step 1: Once you log in to the Codejudge recruiter page, navigate to Tests. Click on the Create New Test button.

Step 2: On clicking  choose a template, you can add questions based on experience and difficulty level from the dropdown of the given template. And click on the Configuration section.

Step 3: Once you click the configuration button, explore the left panel to find various settings. Open the General Settings tab to personalize the assessment by choosing Allowed Technologies for your test questions.

It allows the candidates to solve the questions in these allowed technologies only.

Step 4: Next the recruiter can configure the test Start Date in two ways:

  1. By selecting the start date and time manually.
  2. By clicking the button, As soon as the test is published. It will start the test immediately after publishing the test.

Step 5: Next the recruiter can manage the test start time and expiry time in two ways:

  1. By selecting the Fixed button. It allows the candidates to start the test within the specified time.
  2. By selecting the Dynamic button. It allows the candidates to start the test at any time within the specified time but gets only specific allocated time.

Step 6: Next the recruiter can specify the test Expiry Date by selecting from the calendar. And Test Duration can be specified by checking the Estimated Duration time which is estimated based on the questions set.

Step 7: Next the recruiter can specify the Passing Marks which is used to filter the candidates based on their performance. And also can Capture Candidate Details like name, emails, education details, resume, fresher or experienced etc before starting the test.

Step 8: And the recruiter can Enable Leaderboard to view the top performers based on their test score and quality. And you can enable Show Application Logs and Show Exceptional Messages which are mainly useful if the test contains project questions.

New Feature: To provide a seamless and consistent assessment experience, backward/forward finger swipe via trackpad is now disabled by default for candidates, preventing accidental navigation disruptions during the test.

These configurations offer recruiters an improved and efficient hiring experience on Codejudge.
