Configuring Time Zone Settings for Assessments on Codejudge

We're excited to introduce a new enhancement to Codejudge — Time Zone Configuration for Assessments!

This update enables recruiters to schedule assessments with time zone precision, ensuring candidates receive test invites in their local time. It’s especially helpful when organizing assessments across different regions.

When scheduling assessments for candidates in other countries, it's important they receive communication in their local time zone to avoid confusion. With this new feature, the selected time zone automatically reflects in the invitation emails and assessment details.

Here’s how you can configure time zone settings for an assessment

Step 1: Log in to your Codejudge account using your credentials.

Step 2: While creating a new assessment, head to the Configuration section.

Step 3: You’ll see an option to Select TimeZone.

Step 3.1: Choose the desired time zone based on your candidate’s location (e.g., Asia/Dubai, Europe/London, etc.).

Step 4: Once selected, all time-related data — including test start time and end time — will be displayed according to the chosen time zone in:

• Candidate invitation emails
  
  
• Test schedules
  
  
• Reports
  
  

Step 5:
Complete the rest of your test setup as usual and publish the assessment.

⚠️ Note: This feature is currently available only for assessments and does not apply to contests or interviews.

With Time Zone Configuration, you can now ensure a smoother and more localized experience for your candidates.  No more confusion over start times — just clear, accurate scheduling that respects your candidate’s time zone.
