Follow these steps to customize your candidate data capture form.
Step 1: Recruiters can enable this option in the ‘Configuration’ section when creating a new test or editing an existing one. To customize, first check the ‘Capture Candidate Details’ checkbox.
Step 2: Enabling the checkbox expands all different sections for candidate information like ‘Personal Details’, ‘Educational Details’, ‘Professional Details’ with all the relevant fields.
Step 3: By clicking on ‘expand’, recruiters can further expand each section to see all the existing fields.
Note: In each section, recruiters can see the field label, field type, check if the field is mandatory, enable/disable the field's visibility to the candidates.
Step 4: Click on ‘+Add Field’ to add more custom fields to the details section.
Step 5: After clicking on ‘+Add Field’, you will be asked to enter Field Label, Type and ‘Is it mandatory’ checkbox. Fill the information and click on ‘Save’ to save the field.
Note: Here are all the field types that are allowed - Text Field, Textarea, Number Field, Drop down, Link, Radio Button, Checkbox, File and Slider.
Also, few additional parameters need to be added for certain field types.
Step 6: Once it’s saved, you can see it updated in the details section. You may choose to edit or delete it by clicking on relevant icons in the actions tab.
Note: Editing & Deleting is only applicable for custom fields. Existing fields cannot be edited or deleted.
Step 7: Recruiters can also edit the existing section name, delete it and add a new section too.
Step 7.1: To edit or delete an existing section - Click on the edit icon to edit and delete icon to delete, located beside the section name.
Step 7.2.1: To add a new section - You can click on the ‘+ Add Section’ button.
Step 7.2.2: Enter the section name and click on save.
Step 8: Once saved, you can see the new section added. You can add custom fields to this new section by following step 4, step 5 and step 6.
Step 9: To see a preview of the form, you can click on preview, under the more actions button.
Once all the relevant fields and sections are added, you can save and move on to the next step of adding candidates and publishing the test.
