How to Enable Video Recording for Tests/Contests on Codejudge

Ensuring transparency and integrity in testing is crucial for accurate assessments. Codejudge’s new Video Recording feature allows the entire test session to be recorded, providing a reliable means for review and verification.

This feature enhances transparency and aids in resolving any disputes that may arise. 

Note that this is a paid feature and can be enabled from the configurations section when creating tests or contests.

When video recording is enabled, you have the option to toggle recording settings for the screen, webcam, and microphone according to your preferences.

Step 1: Log into your company account on Codejudge and navigate to the ‘Create Test’ or ‘Create Contest’ section.

Step 2: In the test or contest creation flow, go to the ‘Configurations’ section.

Step 3: Locate the ‘Video Recording’ option in the proctoring configuration tab. This is available as a paid feature.

Step 4: Enable the ‘Video Recording’ feature by toggling it on.

Step 5: Customize the recording options according to your needs:

  • Record Screen: Toggle on to record the test taker’s screen during the session.
  • Record Webcam: Toggle on to record the test taker’s webcam footage.
  • Record Microphone: Toggle on to record the test taker’s audio.

Step 6: Complete the rest of the configurations for your test or contest and save your settings.

Step 7: Proceed with adding questions and other test details, and publish the test or contest.

The Video Recording feature in Codejudge ensures a transparent testing environment, allowing for comprehensive review and verification of the test sessions. 

Here’s how the video recording will show up once the assessment/contest is done.
